Playing with Stu

Just downloaded Stu today. Absolutely great rig, especially for a student like myself. I've never played around with a rig or a character for that matter before. 'Twas much fun! :)

Below is a test of Stu in a relaxed pose that I whipped up in a bit. I know it needs mucho improvement, just wanted test out the rig and see what fun can be had with it. If you got something to critique it do it now or forever hold your peace! Just kiddin', feel free to rip it apart and let me know what's wrong with it. Feedback is key for improvement, so have at it!

Whoops almost time for the QA session with my mentor. See you folks in a a bit!

Hey Freddy, just cruising the blog circuit and thought I'd say hi. I like your choice of test poses and thought I'd offer my 2 cents (actual value is probably much less). Like you I'm a beginner but I noticed that your spine/neck/head is all very rigid and linear. When I'm in a relaxed pose I will slouch a little and my upper body will curve. For a test of the rig I'd say good job.

If you'd like to add my blog site, feel free: www.gpufx.com/blog

I've posted my own test pose for Stu if you like to take a look.

Thanks for the valuable comment sir! (definitely worth more than 2 cents to me) I understand what you're saying regarding the slouch and curving the upper body. He does seem very rigid.

Definitely going to add your blog to my list.

Thanks again for the input!

What's up Freddy!
Hey, this is my first critique! :D
Anyway, I like the pose, I'd just relax the head a bit, perhaps tilt it to the right.
Yeehaw,

Thanks for the critique Lauren! Wow your first critique! How awesome is that?! =)
I see what you're saying about tilting his head and I totally agree! I think it'll help relieve that stiffness he has.
Thanks again for the awesome critique!
