Where have I been?!

It's been awhile hasn't it? How about a game of catch up? Right now I'm right in the middle of the 3rd term working on my first dialogue shot. I had a hard time choosing the clip I wanted to animate too. In the end I decided to go with one that had a slightly more serious tone. There was one clip where the phrasing was very apparent and entailed chances for subtle acting but it had distracting background noises such as an ocean and a horse walking towards the end of it. The second one, the one I chose, had an awesome delivery and a lot of emotion and hopefully I can show that in the acting choices I make. It had the same background noise of the ocean to it, but I was able to remove it cleanly using the noise removal tool in Audacity.

The hardest part so far was getting the first pose down. I have an idea of how I wanted to act the rest of the scene out, but the first phrase or so had me totally stumped. I wanted to do something interesting and not cliche or too neutral. I finally came up with one that I'm pretty happy with and hopefully it reads well. This week our first blocking pass is due, I'll put it up after I'm done for all of you to take a look at. See yah in a few days!
